King's College Prep School Fees 2024/25

Standard Fees (per term)

Year 7 and 8 - £7,250 day / £10,790 full boarding (UK-based)
Year 5 and 6 - £5,550 day / £8,880 full boarding (UK-based)
Year 3 and 4 - £4,290 day / £8,370 full boarding (UK-based)
Year 1 and 2 - £3,560 day
Reception (4-5 years) - £3,395 day
Nursery (2-4 years) - £72.50 per day, £42.50 per half day

The Registration Fee is non-refundable

Acceptance Deposit
£1,000

The Acceptance Deposit will be set against the pupil’s final school bill

Additional Deposit

£9,790 for non-UK based pupils

 

Flexi Boarding Fees

Flexi boarding package (per term) - £1025
Maximum five nights to be taken between Sunday (5.30pm) - Saturday (9am). Nights to be specified before the start of each term.
Package includes laundry, breakfast and supper, but not lunch or activities.

Common Entrance Examination (Year 8)
There is an examination fee for the Common Entrance assessments

 

Private Tuition

Additional English/Maths
Individual tuition (30 x 30 min lessons per year) - £365 per term

Music
Individual lessons - £28.50 per 30 minutes
Shared lessons (two pupils) - £22 per 30 minutes

Speech and Drama
Group lessons - £65 per term
Individual lessons - £35 per 30 minutes

 

Nursery - Early Years Funding

King’s College Prep is now registered to participate in the 15 hours Working Families Entitlement funding for eligible two-year-olds (from 1 April 2024). If you are eligible you can apply for funding the term after your child turns 2 years old.

Three and four year olds are entitled to receive the Early Years Entitlement the term after their third birthday (the maximum that can be claimed is 15 hours per week).

We are also approved for Tax-Free childcare, please see more information at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.

 

Payment of Fees

The termly fee is payable in advance of or before the first day of each term, unless otherwise agreed by separate contractual agreement. If no arrangement is in place and fees are not paid before the first day of term, the fee will be liable to a surcharge of 1.5% and further similar charges at the end of each month that the account remains unpaid. Any remission may be withdrawn if payment is not received on this basis.

As a result of changes to legislation, we are unable to accept payment of fees by credit or debit card.
