International Tutor

"As the International Tutor at King’s College, I am here to help and support your son/daughter and encourage their successful integration into life at the school throughout the year. Part of my role also involves gathering feedback from them on a regular basis about any concerns they might have. I maintain regular contact with their Houseparents in order to help look after their wellbeing.

"In each boarding house there is an international prefect in the Upper Sixth Form, who is appointed each year to help support and look after the needs of our international pupils within the boarding environment. We also run a programme of events for international pupils, which includes a cultural trip once a term on a Sunday, along with other traditional celebrations, such as our annual Chinese New Year Supper. Within the first week of term I meet with all international pupils so they know where my classroom is situated and how to contact me."
