Fresh air is in abundance, and with our wide range of facilities and amazing open spaces, outdoor education is part of every pupil’s day at King’s.

CCF helps pupils enjoy the outdoors by introducing them to climbing, cycling and kayaking, while the Ten Tors and Duke of Edinburgh Award offers endless opportunities for pupils to challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zone.

As well as outdoor adventure and CCF, we have societies and clubs, polo, music ensembles, riding, dance and drama clubs, art and DT session, as well as all manner of activities in between.

We have vast expanses of space and facilities for creative activities, including our Silvermead Art Studio, and our extensive Design and Technology centre.

Art at King's seeks to inspire and nurture creativity through exciting projects, exhibitions, workshops, trips and lectures. We encourage pupils to explore and experiment with media to grow in confidence and ambition through their work.

Musical life at King's is great fun. It is an important part of every day life for many pupils. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved in the many varied musical activities, to whatever level they want, but importantly, King's musicians love performing and have a broad experience of every musical style.
