The King’s Equestrian Team, consisting of riders from King’s College Prep and King’s College, Taunton, delivered an outstanding performance at this weekend’s County Showjumping Competition, dominating the event and securing victories against some tough competition. With over 100 competitors from schools across the county, our riders displayed talent, courage, composure, and teamwork, further strengthening King’s reputation as a powerhouse in school equestrian sport.
From the 70cm classes to the 1.10m individual event, King’s riders consistently topped the leaderboard, securing multiple team and individual victories across all levels. The results speak for themselves:

The success of the King’s riders is a testament not only to their skill and dedication but also to the strength of our equestrian programme as a whole. Many of our riders excel in multiple high-level sports, showcasing their athleticism and competitive spirit. However, what truly stood out on the day was not just the quality of their performance, but the unwavering support they showed one another, the courage displayed in every jump and turn, and, most importantly, the immense pride they felt competing as a close knit team.
