We are delighted to welcome our new school captains and vice-captains for 2022-2023, Abigail H and Robbie M, and Armine A and Nigel H. All four Sixth Form students are an integral part of the larger school with responsibility to lead by example, inspire others and show initiative.

Abigail, or Abby as she’s known, joined King’s College from Heathfield Community School. She is a day pupil and a member of Taylor House, and studying psychology, biology and physical education. As well as her studies and busy school life, Abby is a very successful speed walker and competes nationally at the highest level.

Robbie is a member of Woodard House and started his King’s journey at King’s Hall School. Though an academic and music scholar, Robbie gets involved in all aspects of school life, from choir and DofE to rugby and drama. Presently he is studying biology, chemistry and maths at A level with a view to pursuing either natural sciences or biochemistry at university.

Vice-Captain Armine joined King’s College in the Fifth Form as a performing arts scholar and hails from Armenia. She is a full-time boarder in Carpenter House and fulfils her passion for creative arts by studying A level photography, drama and Russian, as well as being an active member of the Technical Theatre Club.

Nigel is a member of Tuckwell House and is also House Captain. Coming from Hong Kong, Nigel feels Tuckwell is like a family with a great sense of brotherhood. He is studying A level biology, chemistry and maths, and is President of the Biology Club. Nigel is also a leader on the sport field, particularly in team sports such as football, hockey and rugby.
