For the last seven years, King's College Doha (KCD) has provided families living and working in Qatar with a nurturing, yet challenging school environment, which is committed to offering outstanding teaching and effective learning.

KCD has recently announced the opening of a second, new purpose-built school site with first-class facilities for children in Year 3 to Year 13. This will allow the existing Al Thumama site (only ten minutes away) to be redeveloped as the country's only purpose built pre-prep school; a stunning facility for Kindergarten to Year 2.

These incredible additions and enhancements will further strengthen the school's outstanding academic programme and exceptional pastoral care, which is focused on developing learners who are happy, caring, confident and curious. KCD will truly be a premier school in the region. 

Following the success of the school in Doha, King's College Riyadh opened in 2021 as the first British branded school in the Kingdom. It currently offers children up to Year 4 the benefits of a nurturing yet challenging school environment which develops the whole child. It will expand and grow upwards a year group each September.

As in Doha, it is intended that a second site with new buildings will open within a few years. providing stunning, world-class facilities for children onwards and up to GCSE and A-level. The school's outstanding academic ambition is underpinned by exceptional pastoral care, which, as with King's in the UK, is focused on creating learners who are happy, caring, confident and curious.
