The School Day
For children in Pre-Prep, the school day starts at 8.30am and ends at 3.30pm. Early Morning Club begins at 8.00am and is available at no extra charge to all children from Nursery to Year 2.
Children are registered and supervised as they play, colour, read or watch television, then at 8.30am the children are accompanied to their classrooms to begin the day.
Supervision & Hobbies
Supervision and Hobbies run from 3.30pm through to 4.15pm. During this time, the children can choose either to play, colour, read or use construction toys in classrooms, and this is staffed by teachers and teaching assistants from their year group.
Those in Reception to Year 2 can take up a hobby. Each term a list of new hobbies is sent home and children can choose which they attend for the term. The range on offer will change regularly throughout the year. Most of these are free of charge, however for a few specialist classes, there is a small additional charge.
TT Club (Tea Time Club)
TT Club runs from 4.30pm to 6pm each day.
There is an additional charge for each session your child attends. Sessions can be booked in advance if parents are working etc. or can be booked on the day that care is required. Thus, should a parent break down, get stuck in traffic or have a late meeting, a telephone call to the main School Office will ensure that their children are looked after.
All the children who stay for TT club enjoy a varied menu for tea and can then play, draw and colour or play in the woods, all under the watchful eye of qualified staff.
