Performing Arts Technical Manager

We are seeking an outstanding Technical Theatre Manager this is an exciting opportunity to join the Performing Arts and Drama department.

The Theatre Technical Manager’s role involves supporting staff and students in reaching the highest standards possible in performances, examinations and presentations.

The post will offer technical support in the areas of lighting, sound, set and filming and editing. As well as ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the theatre. You will need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with both staff and students.

Teacher of Learning Strategies

We require an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to join our learning strategies team from September 2024 or January 2025. We are looking for a teacher who can share their expertise and love of education, teach lessons which inspire and that pupils enjoy, and play a significant part in the management of the department. The Learning Strategies department currently supports pupils with a range of learning needs, and as in most schools, numbers of those being referred to the department are growing.

King’s College has a lively and friendly Common Room of over 50 full-time teachers, all of whom contribute to the school’s outstanding co-curricular programme of sport, music and many other activities. The ability to contribute to this programme would be an advantage. All teachers also tutor a small number of pupils and undertake an evening duty in one of our boarding houses, the Sixth Form Centre or the library.

We require an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to join our business studies and economics team from September 2024. We are looking for a teacher who can share their expertise and love of their subject, and teach lessons which inspire and that pupils enjoy. The business education department currently runs both economics and business studies A level, with good numbers in each.

Minibus Driver

We are looking for a part time minibus driver. Duties will include transporting children using the school’s minibuses.

A clean driver’s licence with Categories D1/D1E is essential.

The working hours are 34 hours per week term-time only; Monday to Saturday 5.45am to 8.30am and Monday to Friday 4.15pm to 7.45pm.
