We are very fortunate to have the ideal grounds surrounding the school for cross-country events. The purchase of the South Field situated just below the main school buildings gave us an extra running area for training, school competitions and our annual triathlon held in September.
Spectators not wishing to put on their wellington boots and walk around the course can stand in front of the main school buildings and watch the runners for the majority of each race.
Inter-House Cross-Country
Our inter-house cross-country competition is divided into three separate races of varying distances for the different age groups, and is an event which develops a lot of camaraderie amongst the house teams.
Our most able runners are often selected to run for Somerset and one or two of our most outstanding runners have competed in the National Schools Championships.
