The value of the DofE Award is recognised by employers and universities who identify DofE Award holders as well-rounded young people with the skills and behaviours to embrace opportunities given to them.
King’s College has been associated with the DofE for a number of years and it is proud to offer Bronze and Gold programmes to its pupils.
Who Can Take the Awards?
The Bronze level programme is offered to all Fourth Form pupils and takes a minimum of six months to complete. Sixth Form pupils can start a Gold programme, which will take a minimum of 18 months.
Since 2017, groups have chosen to undertake the expedition by canoe, and we have plans afoot for pupils to do the expedition on horseback!
