OUR NURSERY FEES
We offer full day or half day sessions (term-time only):
Nursery 1 – £80 per day, £47 per half day (Nursery fees remain exempt from VAT)
Nursery 2 –£76 per day, £45 per half day (Nursery fees remain exempt from VAT)
The full day and morning only sessions include lunch, drinks and snacks.
To apply for a Nursery place, you will need to complete a registration form and pay a non-refundable registration fee of £200. If you are taking a fully funded session you will not be charged a registration fee.
Registration does not confirm a place at the nursery, but ensures that your child’s name is added to the waiting list if a place is not available. Offers are made on a first come first served basis, although siblings of current King’s College Prep pupils are given priority.
EARLY YEARS FUNDING
King’s College Prep is registered to participate in the 30 hours Working Families Entitlement funding for eligible two-year-olds from September 2025. If you are eligible you can apply for funding the term after your child turns 2 years old.

Three and four year olds are entitled to receive the Early Years Entitlement the term after their third birthday (the maximum that can be claimed is 30 hours per week).
We are also approved for Tax-Free childcare and you can find more information at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
Please note that EYE only covers hours attended for the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage, it does not cover the cost of consumable items or additional services such as specialist music, drama, physical education, access to facilities, and snacks and meals. These are charged as an additional fee/session. Parents are able to opt out of these extras if they do not wish to receive any of the meals, snacks, consumable extras and specialist teaching or services (music, drama, dance, singing, games, fitness).
